Some cats can live outside. Some cats might not survive. A lot depends on how they were raised. Keeping a cat indoors keeps them safe. In a controlled environment. You can monitor them. They aren’t exposed to the dangers of the outside world. I keep my cat inside because I don’t want him to get hurt. But, I know he stares out the window wondering what wonders that outside world would have for him. And, I wish I could explain that to him. That I don’t want him to go outside, because I don’t want him to run away and get lost. So, we put microchips on our cats, and it’s because we care. Sometimes love can look a lot like a locked door.
